The DeMotte Public Works Department is headed by Dave (Butch) Yurko. Dave is a longtime employee of the Town of DeMotte and assumed the role of Superintendent in 2020. His responsibilities include the monitoring of and delivery of fresh water to homes and businesses in the town and adjacent unincorporated areas around DeMotte. He heads the waste water services as well. The public works department receives high marks annually for their performance in both disciplines. His crew is constantly on the move serving the citizens of DeMotte.
